If your system came with the Sound Blaster Audigy instead of the onboard audio, make sure you are plugging the speakers to the correct sound card!

Although the video card included in this computer is manufactured by Intel, the Xorg Intel drivers appear to disrupt the display so the vesa driver will be used instead.
