Title: Clicking the 'Communications' icons crash the UI
Post by: wysiwyg on January 17, 2017, 04:25:20 PM
Details of this problem can be found by going to:

https://www.cliquesoft.org/#Issues (https://www.cliquesoft.org/#Issues)

then loading the 'XiniX' project and selecting issue 206.  As the title indicates, the UI crashes if the user attempts to click on any of the communication icons in the navigation bar if Xorg is not installed.  As a workaround, the user can configure the network connection by going into 'Access > Device > Settings > Communication'.  We are currently working on a solution to the problem.

The problem can be resolved by upgrading to the current latest version of the software (2017.02.07.0) which replaces the slider with a full screen layout.  This version also prevents UI effects in all the themes when using the basic framebuffer (Xfbdev) over X.org.
